Our apartment building Schönwies is nestled into a wonderful green landscape. Surrounded by high mountains, deep valleys and situated close to the shore of the clear lake you can enjoy long hikes through pristine nature.

In the surrounding area there are tracks for nordic walking or mountain biking. Expecially in summer the region offers many different possibilities for outdoor activities. After climbing a mountain you will be rewarded with the magnificent panoramic view.

When the mountain tops shimmer white with snow, and the trees in the valley glitter with hoar frost, Zell am See presents itself in all its winter beauty.

The cable car to the wintersport paradise Schmittenhöhe is within walking distance of our Living Schönwies. The spectacular glacier of the Kitzsteinhorn and the beautiful peak of the Maiskogel both provide a breathtaking panoramic view in wintertime. Both can be reached with the skibus.

From the 15. May to 31. October, guests receive the Zell am See-Kaprun Card free of charge. This card comprises many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars.
